During the time I worked for AkzoNobel I had 6 roles, reported to 11 people and worked at 5 locations in 2 countries. I moved from the Polymer Chemicals division to the Powder Coatings division and then to Corporate. My functions have been both as an accountant and controller, and I was also Investor Relations Manager for many years which was more of a strategic role.

I am precise, analytical, committed, and structured. I have a strong knowledge of IFRS and am confident both with inputting financials (using systems such as SAP and Hyperion) as well as interpreting and presenting the results to senior executives.

There is nothing I like more than writing policy documents and ensuring there are strong controls in place.

I take on short term assignments (6 – 12 months) relating to IFRS accounting, internal controls (including SOX compliance) and documentation of policies and procedures and am available for a maximum of 24 hours a week.
